good tip is to go first to Geilenkirchen and then to Florennes.
Between 0800 and 1000 about three E-3 depart together with an USAF ANG tanker.

That is a good tip but a long detour for someone who lives near EHVB, but if you want to see some, Geilenkirchen is the place to be.

Thanks for the elaborate log.
I made some amendments on our overview page!
Good to see all Tornados are still on base and confirmation on the AMX MM serials.

(notes: having spent the night in my car at my favourite airbase, the the day once again began with low clouds, haze and even light rain. Luckiliy, early departure of a detached Falcon 20 and E-3 indicated that the TLP was going to perform an air-refuelling mission that day, so there was still hope for a successful day.
Indeed, just before noon, activity on the TLP began with ground and aircrew arriving, canopies beeing opened and engines started. Half an hour later, an impressive mass-launch of 25 fighter aircraft began, which took some 30 minutes. Although diversity of aircraft types was down compared to recent TLP flying courses, five nowadays rare Tornado F.3s, a trio of Mirage 2000s and a pair of AMX brought some welcome different shapes in contrast to the mass of mud-mover Tornados and F-16s.
Recoveries of all participating aircraft could be well enjoyed in better weather conditions, and some activity of six based aircraft plus some additional movements made up for a nice log and completed these two interesting days in Belgium. All in all, a very successful journey!)
