Hi all,
Have learnt that the reserve collection of the Le Bourget museum at Dugny is open on 20-21 September. This has been confirmed by a mail back from the MAE. I have to mail the Museum back closer to the time to get the hours it is open and also confirmation about where to park the car.
Does anyone know any more than the fact it will be open, please? What normally happens as this is my first plan for there. Many thanks.
Regards

Re: Le Bourget Museum - Dugny reserve opening
Ah... The annual French Museum open days! The year I was there, thought it was '04, the hangars at Dugny were open, the aircraft could be seen, (their best sides were facing the public), and I thought that year the Constellation was open for inspection (Allthough I've seen a photo from a later year, it was behind some fences then).Vulture One wrote:Hi all,

Further there was a free shuttlebus service between Dugny and the museum itself. I don't know if the museum will still be to visit without admission then.

Hi Jens,
Check http://www.scramble.nl/airports.php?icao=LFPB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
There is a spot near Bonneuil which also gives an overview of the airfield, relative close to the runways (see Google Maps), but I don't remember what the photo possibilities are there (sorry, don't do photo's myself), but you're facing south anyway here.
