Photography: animals

Post by DJMikey »

Eventhough we all are enthousiastic aviationphotographers, I can imagine aviation isn't the only subject we'd like to take pictures of. I for one like to take pictures of animals also, wich I'd like to show here also. Therefor I started this topic. As this kind of photography requires some other technics, maybe we can all learn from eachother. I'd like to start wich these pictures:

For those who are wondering, I've asked the moderators if showing these kind of pictures is allowed in one of the forums. Tattle lounge (or Praethuys) is the designated forum for this.

Nice white tiger, Roel. Just love the white one. "My" white tigers home is Olmen Zoo in Belgium. Nice zoo with a nice collection of big cats.

Bye,
Bianca,

Roel where did you made the owl???

2 pictures of my "roommate" Laro.

Image
When we got him, he already had the name Laro. Although the name Laro does not have a meaning here in Germany, those who serve/served in the Dutch military will know "LARO" as an abbreviation.
Due to his off-the-road capabilities, my wife and I decided not to change his name.

Laro = Landrover :D

Gerard

Whoa, lots of great shots here. I like those of Mike and Pim best but the others are good too.
@ Bianca, Roel's owl seems to be sitting on stick to me. Gone to meet his maker?
