Canon EF 90-300 mm 1:4.5-5.6 USM, meningen??

Hi All,

Ik heb vanavond een afspraak om een tweedehandse Canon EF 90-300 mm 1:4.5-5.6 USM uit te proberen en eventueel te kopen als vervanging van mijn Tamron 70-300 die niet meer met mijn 350d wenst te communiceren.

Heeft iemand ervaring met die lens en zo ja, wat was die ervaring??

PS: dit is een tussenoplossing totdat ik genoeg moneten bij elkaar geschraapt heb om een 70-200 4.0 L te kunnen betalen, dus adviezen als "je kunt beter een L-lens kopen" heb ik niet nodig. Dat weet ik, maar dat kan Bruin nog even niet trekken

I think the 70-300 F4-5.6 USM IS is a better solution !

If it's only a temporary solution, go for a cheap 300mm like a Sigma or a Tamron. You can get one dirt cheap at marktplaats or so. You''ll save yourself a lot of money for the 70-200 f/4 which is a GREAT lens.

Thanks for the replies, I found this one on Marktplaats and I don't really need it to be cheaper then € 100,--

The 70-200 will probably follow when there's any money left after the holidays (I don't need a big lens in Paramaribo anyway

).

I got the 70-300 and this is really perfect for me. It's almost a L lens ... with a very 'nice' price ...

I did get the 90-300 after all, mainly because I was in kind of a hurry t get a new lens before I went to Tannheim this weekend. The result can be seen in the foto forum (look for Tannkosh, the name of the event.
