Damn, managed to miss this one! I have never seen this reported before; it is in the databases as written off and that's it.FA63 F-16A cockpitsection only in a tent
One more that I haven's seen for this show is F-84F FU179. This is stored on a dispersal at the far Western end. Behind the Polish Iskra was some static stuff without aircraft, and when that ended you could just walk on into the (old?) shelter area behind it. At the far end of this we found the Streak, looking nice.
There *should* be three Streaks stored at Florennes, FU179 which I saw, FU91 which is a dumped burned out wreck, and FU50 that used to be stored in a revetment behind the TLP ramp. So my educated guess would be that this one is FU50, but since I also need this one confirmation would be nice!Anyone for the serial of F-84 in the big hangar behind the Turkish Stars

Hi DJ,
I was just going to correct myself, but you beat me to it. I indeed saw the pictures on the photo forum. Don't know how we managed to miss this one by the way, very annoying!

Is the FU154 (on the road from Phillipville to Florennes) real? Cause you don't mention it...patrick dirksen wrote:FA63 F-16A cockpitsection only in a tentThere *should* be three Streaks stored at Florennes, FU179 which I saw, FU91 which is a dumped burned out wreck, and FU50 that used to be stored in a revetment behind the TLP ramp. Yes, that's real. I didn't mention it because it's not on base.....
There are a few more on base actually, all preserved: FR29 preserved at the gate, FU108 preserved on a pole near the museum, FU144 preserved in the museum and FU103 somewhere near the museum as well (I never managed to find this one yet, anybody?).
So maybe one of the preserved ones has been removed and put in the hangar, or that was a totally different one. Who knows more?!?!

FU-108 is the one we are talking about. It has been taken off its pole.patrick dirksen wrote:Yes, that's real. I didn't mention it because it's not on base.....
