Yeah, all the Sukhois and MiG-21s/23s went to Pápa (aka "Jurassic Park"). I also hope that the Polish ones will be on dynamic as well (last year they were only on static). Would be great to see one of them in the air...

Last year they posted these kind of info at the show's website one or two weeks before the show, so it's a bit early to say anything about this (unless someone from the organisation can answer). Maybe you can find something at a website from the romanian air force?

Hello I write from Italy. I bought tickets for the air show, there is also within the map of the air base. I saw that is divided into three areas (A, B, C). with my ticket can access all areas? Waiting for your news, the bracialetto is delivered to the door? Hello Diego Crotti

I'm going to the show for the first time this year. Reading the English information on the official site, your ticket will be checked at the gate and a wristband issued on the day. (Tickets are valid for either day - the wristband, once issued is only valid for that day).

I don't know about the areas A-C - are you sure these are not markers for the entry gates? Unless someone can tell me differently, tickets will let you into the full public area.

In the previous years there were no divided areas though as I remembered they were marked on the information note I received with the ticket. I guess, you don't have to worry about this.

Is it a need to buy a ticket before you go or can you go to the show without ticket?

You can buy a ticket at the entrance. Beware you are dealing with hungarians, and their language is quite different from Western European ones. You'll need some gestures if you want to buy your tickets on site. I don't know if they like it if you remain outside the base to see the flying.

You can buy tickets at the entrance and the people at the ticket office will speak English.

Last year when I was there, the people at the ticket boxes didn't speak English, but since they're only there to sell tickets, they knew what I wanted :)
So don't worry if you don't speak Hungarian.

Try to communicate with your hands, instead of your mouth.
