Hi Melchior we couldn't find the MM of the special "75"c/s Gina. The only thing we could find was the c/n plate in the cockpit. There it said NC87, belonging to MM6357???

Re: Rome - Bufalotta (Bentivoglio scrapyard)
Thanks for that, could not find an MM on this machine. This is the one with "75°" applied on the tail, right?Melchior Timmers wrote:Seen at 23-5-8:

Melchior, I'm not convinced that this is indead the 60-109. Actualy I have noted down 60-108. Her MM-number was overpainted with black paint, but should be MM54408 in that case. But on the the right side of this plane is cleary showed 60-108 if I'm not mistaken. Have seen another log with 60-109 in it aswell, and also 60-108 missing. So I searched on airliners.net, this shows that it has a metal panel on the left side. It's applied over the "8" of 60-108, which made it look just like 60-109 on the left side (looking from the ringroad). Actualy it is not placed on containers but on top of a few metal poles.Melchior Timmers wrote: G-91T.1 MM54409 60-109 preserved on containers
Here is a picture which clearly shows how 60-108 can be mistaken for 60-109:
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Italy--- ... 0977035/L/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Haven't got my logs here with me at the moment, but in my memories this one is coded 5-11. And also is not placed on containers but on top of a few metal poles or some kind of frame even.Melchior Timmers wrote: F-104S-ASA MM6809 preserved on containers

I read (MM)54396 as radio call in the backseat cockpit, so presume it is this bird instead of MM6357.
We also saw the AB204 near the G-91, but someone removed the c/n plate so any help with that bird is needed.
Indeed 61-108 MM54408 c/n135Melchior, I'm not convinced that this is indead the 60-109. Actualy I have noted down 60-108.

Not that I wan't to disapoint you, but I doubt everything was visible from the outside (like th NH500s and some G91s that were not in the row)Thanks for the log. When we where there it was closed.
It could be this one is made of multiple fuselages after being cut because of the CFE?Otto wrote:Ok thanks Melchior, strange the c/n plate in the front mentioned c/n NC87.
Hmm, that doesn't make it any more clear than... although 'our' code was not realy worn but overpainted/faided.Ref the AB205, Sander saw one preserved near a trainstation wearing the same code (SE-60)

There actually was a c/n plate in the AB.204B, on the right hand main cabin door post. It is 3103, which makes it MM80332. Strangely enough this was in the Scramble database as dumped in the States, last noted in 2002. But two of us checked the c/n, and also another party got the same. So my guess is that the sighting in the USA was a mispole.....

Thanks for posting, but I saw you read three same G91's but different code's.
MM6463/60-36 G91T.1 stored Rome - Bentivoglio
MM6463/32-11 G91Y stored Rome - Bentivoglio
MM6463/32-63 G91T.1 stored Rome - Bentivoglio
What about that? Tail swap's, Mispoles?
Thanks,

Must be like this:
MM6436/60-36 G91T.1 stored Rome - Bentivoglio
MM6463/32-11 G91Y stored Rome - Bentivoglio
the other one was a type error..

Please aware that the serials of the nose cones or the serials of the tail section are not the right serials of the centre section.
From some of the F-104's we were able to check the c/n numbers and customernumbers in the cockpit. In the book EMOOS 2007 you find the right MM-numbers of the centre sections.
For those that do not have the book the list
MM6789/37-02 c/n checked
MM6792/5-21
MM6797/5-36
MM6809/36-03 c/n checked
MM6833/5-22 c/n checked
MM6909/37-23
MM6915/5-15 c/n checked
MM6922/5-04

Michiel

The G-91's were taken last week, the F-104s May07Crizz wrote:Are there any recent photos as well?
We can't remember seeing the G-91 infront of the F-104's.
We counted 4 G-91's with code 60-xx and 3 with code 32-xx
And then the G-91 in Special colors lying on the right side of the row.
Unless the photo of the G-91's is a rescent one, we counted wrong.
Who has more images ?
Cheers,

They were on the office side, between containers and under a cloth, not vissible from the outside.Basman wrote:Hi Melchior,
we were here on saturday, just before closing time. We convinced the manager to let us have a quick look-around. He told us though, that there were no H500's left. Where were these H500's, on the office side or on the side of the F-104's/Gina's?
