Hi Guys,

In the airfieldguide (scramble) is mentioned that at this moment runway 08/26 is closed until 15-08-2008.

It has been a long time for me but how are the photo oportunities on runway 06/27? Is it on this runway possible to take pictures in a good angel?

Hope that somebody can tell me

Grtz Henk

Hi Henk,

RW09/27 is on both sides quite good possible. Almost same as 08/26. After they open 08/26 again, they will continue using both (even possible at same time / day).

Regards,
Oscar

I heard also a rumor that 08-26 will only be used for local traffic, and for touch and go's by the local traffic. Someone who can confirm or deny this.

maybe not 100% but you can't go wrong if you go here. 49.434617, 7.626572 there is a little gravel path(to the right) just before the bridge were the A6 is going over.

Is there anyone who can provide me with the serials of the C-17's which were present 03-05-'08 early evening, and also the KC-135. I took pictures but due to heathaze and
a stupid high ISO setting (1600 by accident   ) the serials are unreadable (except for the C-5's).
And I also like to know the serial of the C-17 that departed around 1615h local.

EC-130J @ ETAR 15.06.08

Post by Le Addeur noir »

Hello Andel, RCH1000 was the callsign for the EC-130J on the 14th,not the 15th.

The one this day was not a RCH callsign.Eventually the plans will be checked, but at this time the callsign is unintelligable.
