Leeuwarden is not on the Turkish Stars schedule for 2008, but Florennes and Fairford are.

At the Open Dagen site there is mentioned some "huisregels" for the show were amended. Unfortunately, I couldn't find them. Someone any idea?

As stated on the Air Force website there will be a Hawk from 208 Squadron at the static. Yesterday was the roll out from a Hawk from 19 Squadron in Spitfire colours.

Wouldn't it be nice to see that Hawk on the static?

As far as know they are both @ Marshall's, UK but due to shortage of parts and other troubles don't expected them this year......

What a buy what a buy!

Is the Dutch Government going to sue Lockheed this time, like proposal have been made to sue NH Industries for the backdraw on the Dutch NH-90?

Are are they simply going to be happy when they are getting their Herc in 2009, 2010, 2011 or 201+?

Will the G-273 and G-275 hold out as long as these former EC-130H are falling behind or will 336 sq consist of no Hercules aircraft for some time... ?

If I am nog mistaken there should be some excellent interim aircraft for that time being.... Let us say Fokker 60 UTA-N?

Unfortunately, a Fokker 60 can not handle as much cargo as a Herc, I think our best changes are on the C-17 to replace our C-130H-30, if they might get worn-out

336 Squadron in the near future should comprise of FOUR Hercules.
Yes, G-273 and G-275 will be joined by both EC-130s. The "shorties" will NOT replace the C-130H-30s

Not sure whether Lockheed is involved in this EC-130 conversion programme, but Marshall's of Cambridge and Derco Aerospace certainly are...

Nothing shocking, just the same rules that were handed out last years when entering the event.

I know what I would like to see at Leeuwarden during the Open Days and that is the Sarang Helicopter Display Team from the Indian Air Force; they happen to be in Europe in the month June and giving displays at the ILA Berlin, Biggin Hill and France and hopefully........ Leeuwarden?????
