Is seems like the A330 from the DTW rotation have gone to NBO. This flight is planned to operate with a daily A330 when the change at DTW goes into effect. This service is supplemented with a 6 weekly service from KQ on a 772. This capacity jump seems a big step downwards as last summer the flight was operated daily with a 744 full pax.
The schedule is as follows
KL565 AMS 10.15 NBO 19.40 D A332
KL566 NBO 21.50 AMS 5.30 D A332
This capacity change is planned continue into the winter schedule

These changes are about to get in from somewhere in the beginning of June, Because the first two months are just a transitional period from the winter to the summer schedule. From the middle of June things get worked out and the real summer schedule is comming online.hmv wrote:Are you sure about that one, because Schiphol site says 772 on friday 9th of may.XYZ wrote: - KL641 dep. 13:30 AMS - arr. 15:20 JFK B747-400 - Friday

Voor zover ik weet hebben ze alleen de F-GLXQ als 734
Reason: Operational and financial problems.
No info about a later start... unfortunately.

Great Wall to operate 5x/week from Tianjin to Amsterdam
Chinese cargo carrier Great Wall Airlines is launching services from Tianjin to Europe, marking the first time the dedicated cargo carrier will be operating long-haul flights from Beijing’s port city.
Great Wall Airlines president Tan Kaiping says that on 30 March the airline will commence a five-times-weekly cargo service from its Shanghai Pudong base to Tianjin and the service will go on to Amsterdam.
Two of these flights will also go onto Manchester after Amsterdam, he adds.
Great Wall currently operates a fleet of three Boeing 747-400Fs and Tan says it is now “in the process of negotiating a contract” for the lease of a fourth. This aircraft will arrive later this year in time for the launch of services to the USA, he says.
Tianjin is the main port city near Beijing and is being positioned as a cargo hub. It is also where Korean Air’s new Chinese airline cargo joint venture, Grand Star, is based. Grand Star has applied to operate from Tianjin to destinations such as Brussels and Frankfurt in Europe.
Great Wall is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines Cargo, Singapore investment company Dahlia Investments and Beijing Aerospace Satellite Applications.
