Chef de Mission at Orange

As far as I know, Chef de Mission is the name of the French trainingvariant of the TLP. Chef de Mission is a qualificationtraining for French fighterpilots. The school had to leave at the end of 2007 Saint Dizier because in short at Saint Dizier E.C. 2.7 Lorraine will see the light. The nucleair boys with the Rafale!
E.C. 1.5 Vendee is not active anymore, buildings and (air)space enough fot the school to stay permanent at Orange. Also the weather in the south is very good.
Rumours are that E.C. 2.5 Ile de France in the future will leave for Istres.

CdM is indeed a french version of the TLP, with sometimes foreign participants, except for 2008.

I also heard that CdM will be held on alternating operational airbases each time.
Otherwise a base like Orange has to remain on a semi-operational status to accomodate CdM for only 3 weeks per year (if the last M2000's are gone).

And as the north of France has more operational airbases then the south, it is a nice substitute for us when the TLP is gone.......
A CdM at Cambrai or Reims would be perfect!
