Hierbij een vraagje uit de oude doos. Op 25 Juli 1980 heb ik mijn vader naar het vliegveld gebracht want hij ging naar Zuid Afrika. Na het afscheid ben ik naar de promenade gegaan. Na een uurtje, ongeveer 15:20 uur vertrok het vliegtuig (het was de ZS-SPE) naar Zuid Afrika. In die periode (een uur voor en na vertrek) heb ik diverse kisten gefotografeerd waaronder O.A. een kist van Interflug en een DC9 van Finnair en nog meerdere kisten die aan de pieren stonden en taxiden . Helaas betrof het geen spiegel-reflex camera en de kwaliteit is zeer beneden peil om iets te kunnen lezen. Mijn vraag is heeft iemand een LOGje van die dag (tussen 14:00 en 16:00 uur) wat er aan kisten zijn geweest?

Beste Elvin,

In de Airnieuws (nr. 143) worden de door jou genoemde vluchten niet genoemd. Dat is wel begrijpelijk Finnair en Interflug waren toen reguliere bezoekers.
Van de welgenoemde vluchten heb ik geen tijden. Het gaat om de volgende toestellen:
N708A B707 Aramco
G-BFLD B707 BIMAN (BMA)
TR-LVO CL44 Gabon
G-HGGS EMB110 Euroair
HB-VEM LJ35
VP-BJD G1159 (toen ook al een BJD)
Ik hoop dat je er wat aan hebt.

Beste Erik.

Hartelijk bedankt voor de moeite die je hebt genomen. Het is ook al een tijd geleden. Ik hoop dat ik er wat aan heb maar dat moet ik nog uitzoeken. Ik was vooral erg benieuwd naar de DC-9 van Finnair en vooral de Interflug kist. Als iemand nog andere gegevens heb (ook nederlandse kisten) dan houd ik mij aanbevolen.

Digging through my database I came up with the following;
Concerns F-GJNL, B737 of Air France which seems to have c/n 26448.
Seen at EHAM somewhere in March 1993, but all the official sites give its first flight on May 25th 1993.
Can someone confirm the sighting at EHAM in March 1993 or did I see another aircraft and made a typo in writing down the registration ?

It is even more strange.
Air France bought this one second hand from Malaysia Airlines in september 2000.
From june 1993 till september 2000 only Malaysia Airlines operated this one...so no way this one was at Schiphol on your mentioned date.
In march 1993 I was at Schiphol on several dates and according my own logs AF was flying to Schiphol with the A320 and B737-200.
The only one close to your questions is F-GJNC, see at Schiphol on 13 march 1993...the only AF B737-500 I wrote down according my log.

Sabena BAe146, Palair Macedonian Fokker 28, Garuda MD-11, Estonian Air Tu-134, Sha Air B747F, Delta A310, L-1011, Aeroflot IL-62, Tu-154, Swissair MD-80, Balkan Tu-154, Gulf Air B763, Thai B744, Biman DC-10, VIASA DC-10, Tyrolean DHC-8, MK Cargo DC-8, Fred Olsen L-188, Zambia B757, Finnair DC-9, Istanbul B734, Heavylift SC.5, Translift DC-8, Alitalia Cargo B732 enz enz...was het vroeger beter ???...het was allicht anders met meer variatie.

Kan het een typo zijn geweest voor F-GINL ?

Volgens het boek wat voor m'n neus ligt, heeft deze van 10/92 tot 03/98 bij AFR gevlogen.

PH-KXR Fokker 100 , owner: Aircraft Financing & Trading BV in register: 22jun95 , ex XA-SHG, now: PH-KXR , Operator is Mexicana

Misschien nog leuk als kleine aanvulling:

Deze kist werd oorspronkelijk afgeleverd aan Euralair met dezelfde reg, om kort daarna bij Air France te belanden en nog later bij AOM.
Via LOT (SP-LKI) en SkyEurope (OM-SEE) is hij bij Aeroflot-Nord beland waar hij momenteel actief is als VP-BRE.

It is indeed XA-KXR Fokker 100 of Click Mexicana.
The c/n is 11410. Before XA-KXR it was also PH-KXR with Click Mexicana and before PH-KXR it was TC-IEC with Inter Airlines and before TC-IEC it was... and so on and so on...original delivered to Mexicana on 04-04-1993 as XA-SHG
