Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Not as great a camera as some of you use nor such a great handling (sorry for the smear on the lense, I definitely need to get used to take pictures in the cold and to taking sequences of picture), but I uploaded some pics to flickr:
Some of them:
If you do think they are nice and want originals, send me PM and I'll get you direct links.
Kudo's to the great members here for updating all the AN-225 timing info; you all caused having lots of people having lots of fun!

(edited because I confused the board's BBCode engine by directly prepending start-image tags to end-image tags)

Flickr is also said to be a good site, although I don't have any experience with it.

Hello,
This wasn't the first time that the biggest aeroplane of the world, the Antonov An-225 visited the Netherlands.
The first visit of the An-225 in the Netherlands was about to years earlier on the 27th October 2005 at Eindhoven Airport / Air Base in the south of the Netherlands.
Then there wasn't such a big groud as at Schiphol, there was a little group of people then, because it was no anounced.
I was one of the lucky ones to see the Big One land at Eindhoven Airport / Air Base, some pictures aren on my website.

excuse me, but I was there as well. There were serious traffic problems at the spotters corner on the day of departure. Both the parking lot and the streets to the spotters corner were full of parked cars. Luckily enough the police was experienced as they were trained on the problems already twice before. Even the old promenade was full.Werner wrote:Hello,

Hoi Ceska,Ceska wrote:I also took some nice pics this morning before departure will put them on later, but can anyone reccomend me good site to upload my pics?
I use Tinypic.
This is so easy to doo.
Go to http://www.tinypic.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and upload your photo.
I always do it in the format of 1024x768.( you must first safe it on your PC on this format if you have bigger photo's)
If you do that than you see at the rightside your photo and on the left from the photo you can see 4 stripes with URL's in it.
Take URL nr2 this is for the forums at the internet and copy the link to the message you wil post at the Scramble photo forum.
This is al what you have to do.
It's very easy and the time for using this is so low that you can post your photo's asap.
Have fun.
Grt,
Canon 1000D 18-55 en Canon 55-250/IS en Samsung WB500.
