Re: Indian Air Force Hawks and RSAF Tornado GR-4A
The number of Hawks to be delivered from Warton is 24, with 42 to be assembled by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd in India.Stephen.C.Borg wrote:A total of 25 Hawks MK-132 are scheduled to be delivered to the Indian Air Force from the factory in BAe Warton with the others to be delivered as kits for assembly in India by the Hindustani Aircraft Industries.
Last Thursday's delivery was the second one, the Hawks are scheduled to arrive in Bidar AFS next Monday. This delivery flight originally started on Wednesday 12 December, but one of the aircraft was hampered by technical difficulties, so the two Hawks returned to Warton and started over again the next day.
