HH-3's These were coded 15-23 and 15-30 which should make them MM80992 and
MM81342

These are visible partially from the end of the field at the 26 end and
fully by parking at "The Bunker" and walking down the road. With the bright
sun and good visibility these were easy to read off.

Just returned from Florennes.
The HH-3's where easily read as 15-23 and 15-30.
Everything was outside except the Italian Typhoons.

Hi Hans,
We arrived around 12.45 local time. Walked down the field, drove to the chapel and went also to the old bunker to read the HH-3's which could easily be read due to perfect reading weather.
How late where you there?

Hi Rene,

We arrived somewhere between 13:00 and 13:15 but started on the hill towards Biesmerée. Guess we arrived at 26R around 13:45/14:00 :-)

well, as all official spotter days at TLP have been cancelled this year, I do not understand why any privileged minority should get access to the TLP.

Justice for all!!!

It's always the same story with strange privileged persons and so-called press-cards and other forms of informal relationship-management.

Every time I have been at the TLP this year I saw civilians running over the TLP ramp just before the TLP launch as if the TLP was made for photographers - so I only welcome this decision of the TLP commander.

it has to do with people who are "spotters"!! but work in the Airforce. It was not happend with the normal spotters who always came over on the official spottersdays, but with the military people who think that they can go were they want to go. Also whitout permission from base. Thats the reason to stop it. I know you have t search the people in the military. Sorry for that but its true.

If the latter is true: than the reaction from TLP command is not correct.
Use and mis-usage of tags and uniforms is done for years and should and indeed can easily be addresses with military justice. That may need balls in international excersies, but why should true dedicaded fans be at the wrong end of the stick? (and get the beating).

As crizz indicated, taking pics without permission points to a certain circomstance where that is pre-required, (and which is waived during spottersdays. ) So, the probabilty that it was uniformed 'spotter(s)' or just 'idiots takings photos', is huge.

Too bad for all TLP enthousiast!.

All information is needed on these exercises, for all involved, and a lot of this information was coming from these friends with equal interest in spotting and the TLP, while travelling on base.

Sometimes the crossing of the line to the commander is indeed only a small movement from our side. But maybe the pushing of the boundaries of this line could be equally irritating to the commander.

As you can see from our overviews, some pictures published were taken on base, and all had a special angle to the operation. It is not easy to make changing and challenging pictures from the well known spotting places. Just have a look at the different pictures made by Frank Noort and his friends on base at
