can anybody give the actual numbers by these 4 codes than i can give a beter look at my pictures for the numbers
I did read the serialnumber from the noosewheeldoor. No code noticed. I think we can say that one mistery is solved: 655/33-NG !! NOw for the second one.

Possible aircraft could be 647/33-NF, according to Scramble Dbase.

Thanx Maurits.
So the second one could be 641 (according to Fisher01) or 647 (according to Colin Norwood).
We come even closer to onsolve the mystery.

in that case i think it is the 647/33-NF, because the 641/33- should have not were code 33-NZ or 33-NR, and NF i had also in mind a few times.

and of course a 1 or 7 is not very different

thanx everybody, for me it is clear:

655/33-NG
647/33-NF

Excellent work on the French overflights, but couldn't they have sent a different F-1 to the 1986 event (655 was also at KB that day  )

Hi,

Just been updating my list for the registration of the photographs. But I can't be sure for all the suadrons the planes were assigned to.

Anybody got a list with the correct squadrons for the Belgian, the Greece and some others?

Hi all,

In our last Scramble 341 issue, we published an overview of the KeeBee- participants. Also in SIS-section we mentioned a Cold Lake/Maple Flag review with Mirage F1CR 662 with code 33-NF as one of the French participants. This Mirage was noted in June. So it seems that the earlier mentioned KeeBee F1CR was not 647 coded with 33-NF.
Question;did 647 wear another code or was 662/33-NF the aircraft with 655/33-NG twice in the overshoot at KeeBee?

Anyone more info on this?

Regards,

Maurits

Also, don't rule out the possibility that they used the nose wheel door of another Mirage!
Greetz,
