Hi,
during my holiday last week, I've been using two cameras, but the date on one of them was set as 2006 instead of 2007. Rightnow, I can't sort my files properly, using the basic Windows 'Order by Date/Photo taken at' option.
I've already received a program from a friend (EXIFeditor) which can edit JPG files, but I am looking for a RAW-file editor.
I have several hundreds of photos with wrong dates, so could someone please help me out.
regards
Koen

I don't really know a tool that can edit exif data, but I know you can change metadata in Adobe Lightroom. I doubt if it actually changes the metadata, but as long as you look the pictures in Lightroom, sorting and filtering will be correct...

Hi Hans,
thanx for the info. I have never used Lightroom before, so I'l try to install it on my pc. Do you have a step-by-step plan for changing the metadata?
If you change the metadata with Lightroom, are the changes also visible on other pc's? Otherwise I can only see the correct order on this particular pc.
If anyone else has other suggestions, please let me know.
thanx

Don't know. I haven't tried it on other pc's.
But I know that all other corrections made to images (levels, exposures and so on) are not written in the RAW file, but in the XMP file. I can imagine that it works the same for metadata, but I'm not sure...
