Hi all,
Had a very pleasant visit with the Army Air Corps yesterday.
Everything was possible or could be done! Great job guys!!
Only thingh not seen was the second CASA, but this
one was in overhaul in Spain. A fourth AW139 should arrived
later this week. And although the KLu has confirmed their
appearance at the open days at Volkel, this has not yet been
authorised by the IAC. Planes in bold were seen flying

CM170 216 Is getting a paintjob and then it goes to a

Also noted inside the museum hangars was a SA316B with no glass cockpit on it, with c/n 1153, but that c/n fits SA316B 196. So maybe this is a fake one??

Hi,
Last year we asked the IAC about that one as well. It was straight from the manufacturers as a ground rig and was never a complete aircraft. The c/n noted was probably on one of the side panels and is a spare from the real 196.
Have the Dauphins now been sold? They were in the storgae hangar at the far end with the other Gazelle, CM170 and Dove in March 2006.

Thanks for that one, clears up a bit!Last year we asked the IAC about that one as well. It was straight from the manufacturers as a ground rig and was never a complete aircraft. The c/n noted was probably on one of the side panels and is a spare from the real 196.
Well, been to all the hangars and there was no sign of the Gazelle and Dauphins or other Fouga's as those mentioned in the report. So I guess they are not on the base so they have been sold or moved to another place. But I guess there is someone out there who knows??Have the Dauphins now been sold? They were in the storgae hangar at the far end with the other Gazelle, CM170 and Dove in March 2006.
