Thank you Michiel, seems like I missed 44132 somehow then. Hmm Scheisse. Where about was it parked? Then I can search for it in the background of pictures of the departing Gallies (although that doesn't really count for me, that's spotting in retrospect)..

By the way, I forgot to mention the Spang F-16D doing a couple of touch-and-go's in the afternoon, don't even remember which one it was.

The F-16 was the 91-0474/SP (Bl).

The C-17 was one of the 2 C-17's that was on the platform in the morning but did not leave. None of the C-17's left.
It was next to the C-5B 87-0035, but this one was later parked somewhere else because of some troubles it got after take-off.

Hi Michiel. So the same dual as on Spang in the morning, how predictable!

Then this second McGuire C-17 was behind the earth wall more or less on the same platform as the Stratotanker, only further away from the large hangar (so closer to the runway)? Where also the Mississippi Air Guard Globe went? Well I missed it, too bad. Indeed funny, the circling and immediate return of the Dover Gallie. Nice for pics though.

Thanks for your help so far!

The 7984 flew a mission this weekend. It departed sundayevening while we were eating and returned mondaymorning when we are at the Kindsbachhill.

Does someone know the id of the CONS C-21A?
Dep yesterday as RCH368. According to the SBS-1 radar it should be 84-0134, but I thought it should be 84-0135.

Can someone clear it up?

Martin,

I did get an email from a German spotter that the 84-0134 landed at Ramstein.

Hi Michiel, Trabanti,

As I was on base that morning I can 100% confirm that
63-7984 KC-135R of the 106ARS/AL ANG was your aircraft. Also noted were the 3 C-5 mentioned (90026, 70035, 00455) and C-130J (21434). There was also a Lynden C-130 but that one is civ....

C-17 04-4132 of 305AMW left around 0945LT just after the 2 RS C-130s.

Can any of you confirm the March C-17 parked with his rear to the runway was indeed 05-5141? And that the other 3 Delta C-130s were the ones mentioned in previous messages parked next to each other the first with a blue tailflash, the second with a grey and than the Maryland? I read the RI one myself, buildings were blocking view on the others and I didn't want to go out of my car....

Bye!

Michiel wrote:Trabanti,

The one of 729th AS was indead the 05-5141.
Also the 04-4132 of the 6th AS was on the platform.

The KC-135 wa 63-7984 of the 106th ARS AL ANG
