I suppose the price tag is as big as the lens? ( anyone a clue yet? )

This is really a big lens, it will be a heavy job to follow an aircraft with this one :shock: I'm also very currious about the price :?:

With a digital body (1.5x cropfactor) and a 2x teleconvertor this will be a 600-1500/5.6 !!!

Its weight is about 15kg.

It looks a bit like this one.
This is our Celestron G8 20 cm, 2000 mm (x 1,6 digital) Astro telescoop
with the Canon 400D. The total weight is more than 20 kg.
And believe it or not: I've seen somebody with the same lens at Schiphol airport. I think he was counting the rivets on the plane.
I don't take it to Volkel next friday. When it starts to rain, I need an hour
to pack.
