Aalborg / Ålborg (EKYT/AAL) - 2007
Hello.
I am on a workplacemant in Thisted, Denmark right now. This is a place near Aalborg. I want to spot there soon, but don't now how the rules are here in denmark. Can someone tell me wat the rules precisely are here? Nowone can helpe me here. Also can you tell then some more interesting information about Aalborg?

I know there will be an exercise 14-25 may with GAF tornado's, USAFE F-15(E??) en turkisch F-16's. not confirmed NoAF F-16, Klu F-16 and FAF mirage.

Hey Jasper.
If you stay outside the airfield fence, you can take all the pictures that you want, and no-one will tell you anything. If you somehow get permission to enter the airfield, remember to ask for permission before you take pictures.
In Ålborg you will see RDAF CL604 Challenger and RDAF C130J Hercules. If you're lucky, you might get a RDAF F16 once every while, since they still have a maintanance hangar in Ålborg. Otherwise civilian traffic.
If you want to see F16's you have to go south to Skrydstrup AB.

Expected for this excercise are the two mentioned AAC Lynxen, thanks Oscar
Also four Swedish Gripens JAS39D 39824 & 39827 and JAS39C 39264 & 39258

The excercise will be held from 19 April till 25 April. So expect those AAC Lynxen returning around that date

USAF Eagles at Aalborg, Denmark.
Arrived last week at Aalborg in Denmark were at least 9 F-15A Eagles of the 125th FW, the FLANG.
Probaply for the exercises; Kindred Sword, Noble Award, and Noble Mariner, all taking place from Aalborg.

and do they fly their missions from aalborg?

Jaco what is your source? MSF?
The F-15's are there for the major NATO excercise Noble...... This will take place between 11 and 14 May. According a NOTAM activity can take place between 09.00 -24.00 daily.
