BK-36, ZM170 delivered as Hustler 91 to Eglin, Jan 16, 2025. Not positive if this was a fuel stop enroute to the east coast for further ferry. Time will tell.
AM-49, 5825 (22-5825) is active as well. Noted Jan 21, 2025. Was not a first flight.
AM-51, 5827 (22-5827) first flight Jan 21, 2025.
AS-41, 966 (22-5767) first flight Jan 21, 2025.
They tried to fly AS-40, 42, and 43 as well but all had a ground abort.
Tally.

Why?
What went wrong with the FF of AS-40/42/43?
They were stored for long time after exiting the production line...
For the F-35B and F-35C I have some uncertainty about aircraft involved in lot15 (previous announcement were for 3x US F-35B and 10x F-35C)
F-35B:
170530 - 170533 (4 aircraft) USMC
170534 - 170535 (2 aircraft) UK as ZM170/171
170536 - 170537 (2 aircraft) ANI as MM7457/MM7458
F-35C
170499 - 170502 USN/USMC 4 aircraft
Total aircraft in lot 15
+94+8+4 = 106 aircraft
Lot16
More or less confirmed F-35A/F-35I:
22-5778 - 22-5814 USAF (37 aircraft)
22-5815 - 22-5822 Polish AF 3501 - 3504 and Belgium AF FL-005 - FL-008 8 aircraft
22-5823 - 22-5828 NOW 5823 - 5828 (6 aircraft)
22-5829 - 22-5835 AMI MM7380-MM7386? (7 aircraft)
22-5836 - 22-5844 RNLAF F-038 - F-046 (9 aircraft)
22-.... - 22-.... RDAF L-018 - L-022 (5 aircraft)
22-.... - 22-.... IDF/AF 97. - 9.. (5 aircraft)
22-5946 - 22-5956 USAF (11 aircraft)
Total F-35A prodcued in lot16: 37+8+6+7+9+5+5+11 = 88 aircraft?

Anyane bale to confirm ... the gap between 22-5844 and 22-5946 (lot17??)
Some guessing here. But.......
Last FY22 is 5854 with those 'odd' USAF 22-5946/22/5956 birds. 11 added by Congress to Lot 16 to make up a total of 48.
We already know that the Dutch birds from Lot 17 are 23-5940/23-5945. This order was placed afterwards so these make up the last of FY23.
That means a gap of 84 birds. Count all the other orders from the other countries and I think this will add up not 100%, but almost.

Greets,
Bjorn,
Just to clarify, the Dutch examples are also FY22 and the whole LOT is FY22, not 23.

REPETITA IUVANT - FOLLOW THE CONTRACT
Lot 15 was issued on Dec 2022 and modified three time
Not to mention that they have included some aircraft financed in FY19
Just to clarify, the Dutch examples are also FY22 and the whole LOT is FY22, not 23.
Kind Regards.
Lot 15 and 16 are FY22 yes. Lot 17 is (as far as I know) FY23. So you asked about the gap. The gap is lot 17 and so FY23. Those 11 USAF birds were added to Lot 16 and came after the whole shabbang serial whise, but are FY22 since they are lot 16.
If my info about lot 17 is incorrect then the entire gap might by FY22 yes. But that doesn't change the serial sequence.
