Is there already some info on Red Flag 25-1? Confirmation of dates, units participating......

The "updated" SIS thing on here shows it starting on the 27th, which i believe is normal. But wasnt 24-1 started a week earlier? Ill be visiting Vegas on the 20-25th so im hoping to catch a Flag going. Worst case ill see normal ops and 25-1 arrivals and fam flights.

The updated SIS is correct for start dates.

As for participating units, I’ve heard Hill, VMFA-211 and the Louisiana F15’s.

Please be aware that january 20th is Martin Luther King day. I've been once at Nellis at that day with no flying activity.....

dude thanks for the info! Sounds great so far! I havent been out to Nellis all that often but never seen B-2s. Do they usually stage out of Nellis or fly missions from Whiteman? And i assume the dates are now confirmed for the 27th? Thanks again!

B-2s will operate from Nellis. Dates mentioned were the dates communicated to us.

Why would AK F-35As go to Red Flag at Nellis when they do their own in Alaska?!

The AK Raptors have shown up at Nellis for Red Flag exercises too, their last participation was RF 24-1 (last year around this time). So participation of AK-based assets isn't that peculiar at all.

What have you heard?
I’ve heard Shaw Vipers (boring) and Strikes from either SJ or MO along with JZ Eagles. My info is that AK F-35s are not on the flag but we’ll all know in a few weeks once everything has turned up.

I'm not convinced. We'll see what turns up in a few weeks time.
