Whilst returning from NTM we passed by Diepholz AB
From Lehmder Damm on the south side of the base, a UH-1 complete except no rotor blades could be seen at (52.5790748, 8.3378844). It had a faded yellow/orange SAR door on port side.
Further west near the buildings was a Tornado and a CH-53, both outside/storage
The Tornado I am confident is 43+06.
The CH-53 was read as 84+?3 but low confidence. Have seen reports that it is 84+25, if anyone able to confirm?
The UH-1 spottingmode.eu quotes as 70+40 with SAR door, moved from inside hangar to outside. However Eurodemobbed has a 2016 photo of 70+40 from its days as an instructional frame at Diepholz, but no boom and a normal camo door, not a SAR door. Anyone able to pin an id on the one we saw - I can share a photo if that helps
