Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed
The blown up weapons storage was a open storage in a little forrest close to a village over a street.
Not very planned, made in haste.
In other cases have the Russian storages large mounts of earth as protection.
This weapons arsenal was rather close to the Kursk battlefeld in a little forrest, and not very well placed.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence says its forces have shot down a Russian fighter jet over the Black Sea, sharing a video of the apparent strike.
Early on Wednesday, a Ukrainian special forces unit fired a man-portable air defense system, or MANPADS, at the Russian Sukhoi Su-30SM, which crashed into the sea around 44 miles northwest of Cape Tarkhankut in western Crimea, officials said in a Telegram post.
According to the DI officials, it belonged to the 43rd Separate Naval Aviation Regiment of the Russian army, and was based out of Saki airbase (or Novofedorovka) in western Crimea. While Crimean Wind first said the plane was based out of Krymsk, in Russia's Krasnodar, it then updated a post to say it was from Saki.
The accompanying video shows aerial images before switching to what appears to be the MANPADS' targeting view, with a fighter jet flying into its crosshairs. It said a telltale streak of jet fuel was found on the water, as well as parts of the plane's wreckage.
The outlet reported the source as saying that the jet had been accompanied by a Su-35, and that the Su-30 launched four Kh-31P missiles while in the air, before vanishing off the radar. The Su-30SM used the Su-35 ECM shadow. It shows that Su-30SM and Su-35S still use the Crimea air bases.
The outlet reported the source as saying that the jet had been accompanied by a Su-35, and that the Su-30 launched four Kh-31P missiles while in the air, before vanishing off the radar.
Oryx, an open-source intelligence site that uses visual evidence to track weaponry losses, says it has confirmed the loss of 11 Russian Su-30s since February 2022. They are certainly more. Oryx are for example not counting Su-30SM losses on Russian ground.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed
The 43rd Separate Naval Aviation Regiment is a part Russian of the Russian Navy. They have lost several on missile or drone attacks on the Novofedorovka air base. Other bases of the Russian Navys Su-30SM are Kaliningrad Chernyakovsk and Murmansk Severomorsk-1 and Severomorsk-3 air bases. Aircraft from these bases are certainly also partcipating from the Novofedorovka base.

One Russian Navy Su-30 lost over the Black Sea with the loss of both crews.
While the aircraft is said to have been involved in a mission related to the war, the cause of the crash is not clear.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed
New attack against Borisoglebsk air base. Borisoglebsk is placed near Voronezh air base, and close to the war zones in Ukraine.
One base were 1 squadron of Su-34 (ca 12 aircraft), 1 squadron of Su-30SM (ca 12 aircraft) and 1 squadron of Su-25 (ca 12 aircraft).
The base was satellite pictured before and after the attack. Videos taken during the attack of people living close shows very heavy burning and explosions. After the attack very much burning on asfalt and grass around the parking places of Su-34 and Su-30SM. This places was the direction of the bombing.
Also bombing of the pilots living areas.
The Russian air force have a direction to take away burnt and hitted aircraft from attacks, to hide the effects of the bombings.

Interesting informations, I think, about a Russian S-70 prototype (large) combat drone shot down inside Ukrainian lines by a Russian fighter jet :
https://www.twz.com/air/russias-s-70-hu ... er-ukraine
Video : https://x.com/clashreport/status/184251 ... er-ukraine
Friendly fire or shot down after losing control, to avoid it falling in Ukrainian hands ?
Anyway, not a simple suicide drone for sure.

Ukraine launched its largest drone attack on the Russian capital city of Moscow since the war began in 2022 about two weeks ago Saturday-Sunday.
Russia’s ministry of defense said it “intercepted and destroyed” 34 drones over Moscow following the latest strikes on the capital. Totally was 70 drones shut down, with rest in areas between Ukraine and Moscow areas such as Tula, Bryansk and Kaluga (according russian sources). Areas with different types of arsenals and production of for example explosives. In area between Ukraine and Moscow is 80% of Russias uncounted arsenals!
A major Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow region has forced Russia to close three major airports in the early hours today.
The primary target for the Ukrainan drones is the Russian air defence S-300 and S-400 as they are used in the Ukraina as cruise missiles!
Zhukovsky or Ramenskoye air base (55.3545-38.0926)
Large Russian air force base for aircraft and weapons research. Aircraft dispersed such as they are expecting air attack. At least 12 MiG-31 on base (not dispersed but mixed with other aircraft).
Ramenskoye near Domodedovo air defence are covering both, Some SAM launchers very close to air base.
Covered by at least 4 S-400 sites (battalions). Normally 60 now 24 launchers as they are transferred to Ukraine!
Domodedovo airport (55.2455-37.5439)
Some SAM launchers very close to airport.
Covered by at least 4 S-400 sites (battalions). Normally 60 now 18 launchers as they are transferred to Ukraine!
Sheremtyevo airport (55.5805-37.2534)
Covered of at least 5 S-400 sites (battalions). Normally 48 now 20 launchers as they are transferred to Ukraine!
Also attacked south east of Moscow,
Kolomna (55.0208-38.3950) area with lot of facilities for weapon research and weapon and equipment arsenals.
Not regularly air defended.
In attacked areas are several primary targets for Ukraine such as the security services primary central communication facility (55.1656-37.3343). It have many satellite radomes and high frequency towers for communication.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported setting a Russian Su-27P interceptor on fire at the Krymsk airfield, located in the Krasnodar Territory.
The targeted aircraft, identified as the Su-27P with registration RF-90709 and blue number 16, belonged to the 38th Fighter Aviation Regiment, stationed at the Belbek airbase in Crimea. This model, developed for the Soviet Union’s Air Defense Forces, is known for being a specialized version of the Su-27 but lacks the capability to use air-to-ground weaponry.

Ukrainian drones struck a skyscraper in the Russian city of Kazan on Saturday morning during an unusually long-range attack.
Authorities in the republic of Tatarstan, which is located 620 miles from the border with Ukraine, said there were fires in three districts of the region’s capital following strikes on residential buildings.
No casualties were immediately reported but Kazan airport was closed as a precaution, according to Russia’s aviation agency.
Ukraine did not immediately comment.
Videos posted to Russian social media show a large drone exploding after hitting the upper storeys of a glass-fronted skyscraper. The 121-metre Lazurnyye Nebesa tower is the tallest building in Kazan.
