Hi, since a rather recent update/make over of the website, the number of characters you can enter when sending an update is limited to 255. That sounds like a lot, but isn't. A little bit of explanation quickly exceeds that number. Why has it been limited, and is it possible to change this please?
(I now sometimes send two updates, with my message split in two...).

Re: Update fields database
Hello Patrick,
It is possible to send an attachment, like a notepad txt file, or a Word/Excel document.
It is quite easy, especially when one would send a log.

Re: Update fields database
Hi Hans,
Thanks for the reply. That indeed sounds like a work-around, but is not ideal of course, at least in my view. That way I have to type and save my text somewhere local first and then upload it, making it extra work. So a change would be appreciated still, if technical limitations are not the driving factor here. I can imagine it would lower the "drempel" for some to send in updates.
Cheers,
Patrick
