Jesolo Air Show 2024, 14/9/24 Italy

Post by Dysko »

Some pics from the biggest airshow in Italy, held on 14th September on the beaches of the popular holiday location near Venice. Unfortunately, weather was overcast during the airshow.

The show was opened by a Police AgustaWestland AW139 and two water scooter:

...escorted by 2 AgustaWestland AH-129 Mangusta, which "strafed" the beach:

The UH-90 started hovering to drop a group of "lagunari" of the Reggimento Serenissima, Italian Army's marine infantry (not to be mistaken for the Reggimento San Marco, which belongs to the Navy):

The lagunari swam to the beach with SCUBA gear...

...and secured it to allow an amphibious landing in order to rescue some civilians in a conflict zone:

The F-35 then performed several high-speed fly-bys. Unfortunately, all photos are blurry.

You've got some nice catches. Pitty that the weather didn't cooperate.

No Sun = No hard shadows.
no sun cream and no sweat either. :D

on the other hand, parking one's car in Jesolo and wider area is major obstacle in my experience. The beach is popular anyway and the Jesolo Air Show attracts a great many additional people.

Nice set. ciao!
Hoera d'revolutie, 't is eindelijk zover', maar de nwe leiders blijken net zo autoritair
