Seen a picture on X (Twitter) which confirms the C101 as E.25-81 793-01.

Was one of the C212s on the Airbus side? I saw an unmarked one there on 10th Oct.

No serials as was on high ground overlooking Torrejon on Fri 11th, but can confirm x5 AV-8s arrived & taxied to middle row of barns. Also noted were x2 Hornets departing & later returned with a EF2000T (which may have taken also taken off with them but not seen).
Also of note on CLAEX ramp was a EF in a barn there & a Hornet was towed out & into the other barn. Too far away to read off.
Hadn’t seen any F5s arrive by 1pm approx.

ET-181 should be the ET-187.

Active aircraft seen at Cuatro Vientos on the afternoon of 13.10.24

CH-47F: (HT.17-24A)/ET-424 (HT.17-28A)/ET-428
H135: HU.26-11/ET-197 (UME colours), HE.26-24/ET-187, HE.26-25/ET-189
S-76C: HD.24-06/49-06

nb an H135 has been active over Madrid during the last few days with hex 34738C, which FR24 shows as Guardia Civil H.26-29 - it is actually Policia Nacional EC-OIC, marked Angel07.

Cheers

Dia de Hispanidad flypast rehearsals, Thursday 10.10.24

I heard jet noise or saw aircraft over Madrid on three occasions last Thursday. I was taken by surprise so wasn’t properly equipped so just made some notes of aircraft involved from flight trackers seen on the phone:

E.27-16 PC-21

TK.23-14 A400M

T.23-06 A400M

T.21-12 C295

D.4-06 CN35

HT.21A-03 AS32

HE.26-24/VERDE87 EC35

HU.26-36A/CUCO71 EC35

EC-OEZ, EC-NZE, EC-LBD, EC-LOS EC35

The Eurofighters, EF-18’s, CASA 101, CL415, 2 more CN295’s, and a couple more helicopters with the Super Puma (NH90’s?) didn’t display on the flight trackers.

Regards

David

A friend has identified 3 of the Typhoons (14-14,14-64 & 14-78) from photos posted on 'X'.
Is anyone able to confirm the total number of Typhoons on the ground at Torrejon on that very wet Saturday morning, please?

There were a total of at least 11 typhoons. On friday 9 of Ala 14 arrived and earlier 2 of Ala 11 arrived, which departed saturday (11-02 and 11-10, both dualseats)
The ones of Ala 14 were, by code:
14-39, 14-58, 14-59,
14-62, 14-64, 14-67,
14-77, 14-78, 14-11 (Dualseat)

5 harriers arrived on friday morning, we were too late for them and didn't manage to see the serials
