For those who plan to spend some time at KB during the Sanicole show. The police created a (what they call) “red zone” around the approach area’s. In this zone, no parking and today no stopping even on foot. KB flew 05 today, don’t know how it is on the 23 side. Rather challenging.

Both sides were closed .

But when you pass 05 lights ( north-south) take first right , then right again. Then 2x left on dirt road ( grafheuvels)
After few hundred meters on left side there is a large field . No Police today .

About 300-400 mm

Same dirt road other side

Looks like the "Spottersday" was a complete waste of 45 euros. I was speaking to a local Belgian spotter who went and he was seriously MAD.
3 aircraft for 45 euros.1 based F-16. 1 Fouga Magister and something else I forgot as I was laughing too much.
with the new restrictions in place, it was a joke trying to spot anything.

Along by Sanicole, all that could be seen from the road was the top of the rotors of 1 chopper. (unknown)

Flying at KB from 11.30-20.00 was :-
146 Rafale
ZJ913 Eurofighter RAF (with D-Day markings)
G-SPRK + G-SPRX Both RV-4s
N79535 Boeing Stearman
263, 266, 267 PC-9M Irish Air Corps
3 x Harvards
CT-06 A400M BAF
N620AR Casa 212
N700WF TBM 7
285 C-295M Irish Air Corp departed
1 x F-18 Fin AF
G-JPIT Pitts S-2S Special
J-3080, J-3082, J-3083, J-3087, J-3088, J-3090, J-3092 F-5s Patrouille Suisse
1 x F-16 Danish AF

You can walk along the road next to the airfield and onto parts of the field in the east. Everything could be seen from there and the numbers are known obviously.

Back to topic with a civil aircraft question... Which 4 PA28 from the Victors arrived around 18.00 local on the friday? I was in my car by that time, and only OO-VMY was visible on ads-b..
