Torrejón 2024

Post by Trabanti »

Currently they have one of these horrible Turkish jet trainers here for testing (sorry forgot the name but it's red and carries serial 24-001).

Spain is considering a deal that consists of 6 A400Ms going there and 24 of those coming over to replace the remaining F-5's at Talavera. Hopefully the deal will fall through cause boy, what an ugly-ass piece of work it is.. Pardon my French!
Rome has Bufalotta, Arizona has alotta BUFF..

Hi all,

On October 11th, we read the following helicopters near the Guardia Civil hangar:
HU.15-63/(09-124) Bo105
HU.15-85/(09-113) Bo105
HU.15-86/(09-114) Bo105
HU.22-1/(09-201) MBB-BK117
HU.22-04/(09-)204 MBB-BK117
HU.26-18/(09-312) EC135
Also present were another BK117, and another Bo105 read off as HU.15-62 which is not correct. Is this actually the -67? Could anyone confirm? Any help with the missing MBB-BK117 is also appreciated!

Regards,
Joris

To answer my own question: A message on X dated 1 June 2024 mentions two additional aircraft stored at Torrejón being Bo105 HU.15-67/09-126 and MBB-BK117 HU.22-07/09-233. So these are the most likely candidates.
