Only the Romaero hangar & 2 SMURD aircraft logged this day.

Had the chance to got a quick look inside Romaero hangar, where the following 4 RoAF aircraft could be seen. The SMURD airframes where on the apron of the 'Hangar Scoala Superioara de Aviatie Civila'.

Not sure about the condition of the C-130's, probably they getting some overhaul / maintenance?

I think these SMURD aircraft are wfu? At BIAS ‘22 they were at the same ramp, while the new Learjets operate from the main ramp.

The 1122 is at least seen in the summer of ‘23 at Dusseldorf!

According Radarbox it also was its last recorded flight, back to Bucharest. (Which is of course no guarantee, but might be an indication of its status).

And my memory isn’t as good as I thought. Only 1121 was seen in 2022 at that ramp; in covers.

Strange to see 3 CAB back in Europe again! They were withdrawn from Europe 2 rotations ago already (Nov 2023)!? Momentarilly 1 ACB (227th Avn / 7-17th CAV) is known to be in Europe. Are there more 3 CAB airframes in theatre?

Units are correct as this is a showreport from 25 August 2023!!
3rd CAB was at that time the Atlantic Resolve unit in Europe.
They left Europe in November 2023 via Eindhoven to the port.
(the mentioned helicopters were all seen at Eindhoven)
