Embraer E190F to make European debut at Farnborough Airshow

Post by YS11 »

Embraer shows the E190F to the European public for the first time at the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow. It will take place from 22 to 26 July. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer also takes the C-390 Millennium, A-29 Super Tucano and the E195-E2.

The freight version of the E-series was launched in 2022. Embraer offers a conversion program for both the E190 and the E195. The cargo aircraft must meet the demand for a plane that is in size between turboprops and the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.

The aircraft manufacturer takes care of the conversion itself. Among other things, the floor is strengthened and a cargo door enters the hull. The Embraer 190F can carry 10,709 kilos of cargo, the larger Embraer 195F 12,298 kilos. The first aircraft converted will fly in 2024.

Earlier this week, Embraer unveiled the final color scheme for the E190F, which is used for marketing purposes.

The E190F can only be admired on the ground, just like the Super Tucano. The E195-E2 and the C-390, which was ordered by the Royal Air Force, also participate in the pre-flight program.

Think the air force got lost in the translator used. Should read Royal Netherlands Air Force.
