Markering van een tijdperk…

Eind september 2024 nemen we afscheid van de F-16 in Nederlandse dienst.
45 jaar vormde de F-16 de hoeksteen van de luchtmacht.
Het toestel is in al die jaren vaak ingezet om politieke doelen te bereiken.

Met deze jubileumstaart kijken we terug op 45 jaar F-16.

J-197 is the bird with the special stickers.

Too bad the RNLAF has never really been into special liveries and nowadays just applies some stickers to mark the end of an era.

Looking forward to the Belgians showing everyone how it's done
