NH90 vliegt in formatie

9 NH90-maritieme gevechtshelikopters vliegen 29 mei in fomatie. Ze vliegen tussen 14.00 en 16.45 uur vanaf Maritiem Vliegkamp De Kooy langs Amsterdam, Den Haag, Woensdrecht, Gilze-Rijen, Utrecht en weer terug. Dit gebeurt vooral op grotere hoogte.

De vlucht maakt deel uit van een training voor de ondersteunende en vliegende eenheden. Het gaat erom de helikopters op het hoogste niveau inzetbaar te hebben. Daarnaast is het formatievliegen een complexe training voor de bemanning. De helikopters gaan langs locaties die een belangrijke rol spelen in het ondersteunen van de NH90, en de samenwerking ermee.

De vlucht en de route zijn afhankelijk van het weer.

9 NH90 maritime combat helicopters will fly into formation on May 29. They fly between 2:00 PM and 4:45 PM from De Kooy Maritime Airfield past Amsterdam, The Hague, Woensdrecht, Gilze-Rijen, Utrecht and back. This mainly happens at higher altitudes.

The flight is part of a training for the supporting and flying units. The point is to have the helicopters deployable at the highest level. In addition, formation flying is a complex training for the crew. The helicopters visit locations that play an important role in supporting the NH90 and cooperation with it.

The flight and route depend on the weather.
