Yes when they fly. There's a wall around the place. You'te viewing from the edge of a built-up area. I've been there a few times around 20 years ago and managed to read off helis flying into and out of there. I seem to recall they park a fair distance from where you are. This was, of course from a long while ago.

You should have no trouble from the locals, etc.
