Yuma 16th March
72294, 72307, 72309 and 72313. It might be coincidence but they were all towed out just before two prisoner repatriation flights started boarding lol!

Also now on the deployment is:
72301 - Tucson AZ (Burlington VT)

72188 is still present, currently operating from Yuma. Presumably it has been transferred from Michigan to another unit's control.
72294 does not seem to have flown since 22Aug23

A small update given that many people will be over next month.
Note that they are effectively split into two fleets, at Edinburg/Laredo TX, and the "west" fleet which uses Las Cruces, Tucson, Yuma and Pine Valley. There is often movement of operating bases within these fleets.

72216 - Edinburg TX (Albany NY)
72218 - Edinburg TX (Albany NY)
72270 - Las Cruces NM (home unit?)
72276 - Pine Valley CA (Parkersburg WV)

11-72188 flew back home via Waco TSTC on 3 october 2024.

Markings indicated VI ArNG which could explain the onboard airco :-)

However crew were from det 1 C/1-224 AVN and they were bringing this Lakota home to Massachusetts on their 5 day trip.
They had a TDY of 1 year! The crewchief was now back to returning to his job as fire fighter.
