REQ Leeuwarden B-1’s + TX F-16’s 10-06-1997

Hi all,

After all these years, why not ask here? At Leeuwarden on 10 June 1997, apart from four TDY Turkish F-16’s, I noted two B-1’s (Bone01 & Bone41) plus six TX ANG F-16’s (Spad11-16). The airfield was at the receiving end of a base attack by all of these during ex. Central Enterprise. The bombers flew low level straight down 24 and then headed northwest, the F-16’s came from every direction.

Anyone for any of those numbers? I seem to remember the ANG F-16’s came from Skrydstrup, the B-1’s from Fairford I assume. I read one tailcode as DY.

You may also wanna try the FC forum. I'm sure there were spotters at both bases during those pre-digital days who kept logs during those exercises.
