A very lucky escape for the city of Kayseri. A video on Twitter show the Transall flying very low just before the emergency landing.

the damage is rather substantial.

is probably a write-off.
Only new-ish transporters would have been repaired with all this damage.

And indeed, the video thru the link above
shows that Kayseri could have been hit by a very serious accident today...

Since the wing looks very broken, I'd say the above statement is a so called understatement...........

The aircraft obviously landed without undercarriage and with no flaps. It looks like the engines had not enough power or it had serious hydraulic issues. The latter is not very likely, because the Transall has three different hydraulic systems, a green, a red and a black (hand pump) one.
