Apparently just now (January 4th, 2024, 8:30'ish local time but could've been earlier) there was an incident at Ellsworth AFB involving a B-1. Information at the moment is scarce but reports of the crew successfully bailing and people hearing a loud bang in the surrounding area of the base is what I have heard. 85-0085 may have crashed on the rwy during landing. Visibility has been reported to have been very low (1 mile) with 300ft ceilings.
More news will most likely come out in the next few hours.
Glad the first reports are the crew got out OK.
Tally.
