French Hercules plane has made an emergency landing at Arlanda

A French Hercules plane that was on its way from Kiruna to France had engine problems at the height of Sandviken. The plane therefore had to make an emergency landing at Arlanda.
- The alarm came to us just after twelve that a French Hercules plane had engine problems during the journey.
They have four engines and two stopped working,
says Lisa Mjörning at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
The Swedish Maritime Administration activated the so-called air rescue service, which meant that a helicopter met the plane.
An ambulance and police helicopter also followed the plane's landing.
Ten people were on the French plane. At 13.10 it managed to land successfully at Arlanda. No one should be injured.
According to routine, the incident has been reported to the National Accident Commission,
which will investigate what went wrong.
