I am still flabbergasted by the visit to UAE and Saudi yesterday of the following… Additional details or corrections more than welcome.
RA-96024 IL-96-300 Rossiya - Special Flight Detachment (callsign State Aero RSD501)
RF-81269 Su-35S red ?
RF-81283 Su-35S red 10
RF-81… Su-35S red 03
RF-81… Su-35S red ?
(+ ground spare Su-35S not launched from Russia)
RF-78… IL-76MD 224 Flight Unit
RA-96024 routed Vnukovo - Abu Dhabi - Riyadh International - Vnukovo all on the same day. Looked like only three Su-35S went along to Riyadh (one broken?).
All from video, the Russian sensor was not very good with blurring serials and bort numbers. The below is from tracking websites:
RA-64521 Tu-204SM Rossiya - Special Flight Detachment (callsign State Aero RSD877) flies home now (7 December) from Riyadh.
RA-64526 Tu-204SM Rossiya - Special Flight Detachment (callsign State Aero RSD115) flew same route and day as RSD501.
Abu Dhabi International (OMAA) (6-12-2023)

This morning RA-78831 was visible on ADS-B, flying out of the UAE. That might be your missing IL-76. Is the same one that supported the Russioan Knights at Dubai Airshow 3 weeks ago.

Thanks. I have a strong feeling the Su-35 pilots also are the same as the air show…
