US Military aircraft incident
A US military aircraft crashed in a training accident in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, according to the US European Command in a statement published at 11pm on 11th November, though there were few other details provided. European Command would not identify what type of aircraft went down or whether anyone was killed, and it’s not clear what the status of the crew is.

The aircraft crashed on Friday evening. (10 Nov 2023)
EUCOM said all five crew members were killed when it went down “during a routine air
refueling mission as part of military training.”

According to a statement issued by EUCOM it happened “during a routine air refuelling mission as part of military training.” So if it's indeed a helicopter a HH-60 or CH-53 variant would be most likely.
