Re: Austrian AB212 crash
The message on X (now) says it caught fire during landing. This is not accurate though according to info linked by ASN here http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/347017 .
It is now reported that the heli made a succesfull night landing in a field, where the three rescuers among the crew disembarked (the mission for them was winch training). The Bell attempted to lift off again but possibly got caught in something and tilted, coming down onto one of the rescuers. He was pulled clear of the airframe by his colleagues and the two pilots plus engineer got out of the helo as well, that evidently caught fire. Five crew with minor injuries, the one rescuer in hospital with more severe injuries.
ADSB data suggests this concerns 5D-HT operating as 'Bell 31'.
