2 Stored F-5’s Butterworth Malaysia

Post by witje »

At the gate are still preserved F-5E M29-10, A-4PTM M32-34, MirageIIIO A3-59 and on the otherside of the road CA-27 FM1901 (as FM1905)
On the North side of the field 2 F-5’s are stored. First one is F-5E M29-09 and behind a F-5F but unreadable from the photos. Does someone have a clue?

On the TUDM facebook the is a report of a visit to Butterworth AFB to inspect the F-5 aircraft see the attached link. On the photos of 3 F-5 are shown one unmarked green the M29-09 and the M29-17. The last one is the candidate.

Thanks! That’s the missing one. And now I see there is a SeaKing behind it.

When you scroll through the photos on the RMAF museum website there are actually two S61A-4 Nuri helicopters these should be the the M23-04 and M23-05.

Thanks but I can’t find it. Do you have a link?

Yes I saw these two, but I thought you have seen other photos with their serialnumbers. Do you know which one is without the covers?
