Re: Defile 14 Juillet 2023 Paris
Hi all,
Still 'processing' my log....
I found a few strange things in the units, comparing the logs here on the MB, the Scramble database and OrBat and the infographic provided by the French.
According to the infographic both CN.235s should be from 'Escadre 64', but this is not mentioned in the Scramble OrBat or database anymore. The aircraft DO carry the 64-code though.
All particiapting navy Rafales should be from 17 F. From my own pictures I can tell 3, 5 and 7 carry 12 F markings, somebody for the markings of 11, 15 and 36?
Is there consensus about the second Atlantique 2? On my photos the serials looks like 5, but I have both 15 and 25 seen quoted as the serial.
The infographic gives 2 RHC for the AS.555s from EALAT and 6 RHC fo their EC.120s. Again units I can't find in the Scramble OrBat.
And finally I made a note the new navy Dauphin (6831)/F-HDHN is from 22 S/ESHE, but the graphic says 34 F. Which is correct?

Thanks Marc. The 26 was clearly readable indeed, I was referring to 5/15/25 which was very difficult to read. It seems people agree on 15Flyboy wrote: ↑02 Aug 2023, 22:18 Hi Patrick, I don't know what the second Atla is for you. I think I saw 15 & 26

Re: Defile 14 Juillet 2023 Paris
Hi all,
These questions still haven't been resolved:
-According to the infographic both CN.235s should be from 'Escadre 64', but this is not mentioned in the Scramble OrBat or database anymore. The aircraft DO carry the 64-code though.
-All particiapting navy Rafales should be from 17 F according to the infographic. However from my own pictures I can tell 3, 5 and 7 carry 12 F markings, somebody for the markings of 11, 15 and 36?
36 was seen in the UK in May without markings, so I wouldn't be surprised if it still didn't have any markings at the time of the flypast. The others I can't find any recent pictures of. Nobody who has usable photographs from another angle than mine?
It would be nice to fill these last gaps in my log....
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I found pictures of 15 just before and after the flypast, and in both it has 12 F markings.
EDIT 2: Indeed 36 had no markings, while 11 had 12 F markings. And thanks to Otger for explaing 64 Escadre de Transport is the parent wing of ET01.062 and 03.062. French logic I guess.
