You forget the PA34 YU-VGI at the static. This is operated bij 138.tae

The 3 Gazelles in the hangar are 12837, 12894 & 12895. Next to them in the same hangar was a G4 Super Galeb 23741.

What a RIDICILOUS event!

I was aware this will be something different to other events in Europe, but for god's sake!!!! Offering 1 (one!) single food stand for tens of thousands and on the other hand repelling people with food bags at the entrance was a real disgrace and made me wonder, if they also hate their own population as much as the hate others: "HEYYY!!!! One camera one smartphone only. No food. No drinks. No bags. GO BACK".

At least not even all of the staff was aware of their own rules.

From an aviation enthusiasts view it is a pity, how poorly organized this event was in comparison to other events around Europe. Honestly - I did not expect much and was nevertheless disappointed. Not mainly about the event and displays - those were known anyhow before the event (we KNEW there was 1 hour flying only) - but of the impolite treatment, shouting and trying to intimidate people who just came to have a good day at an something like an "one hour only" airshow. Well done!

The Serbian MoD posted info (in English) before the event saying it was accessible for 'citizens'. If you are not a citizen of Serbia but nevertheless gained access you shouldn't complain. It is still their country and their rules.

Also; this was not an airshow but a Serbian military show of force. And you apparently experienced just that.....

MOMA Side;
As previously discussed there were 3 x MiG21bis under netting - presumably the last fliers as one was carrying the cat mouth markings seen often on the later Serbian AF marked aircraft. Also under here was a 2 seat IJ22 Oreo again most likely awaiting overhaul.

I did not get the chance to see the Gazelle in the main hangar above but to the side was a fire door which gave a view in to the side of the main hangar. Of course it was netted off so I could only see the contents near the door which were a IJ22 Orao 5** on the nose and presumably another long lost one now getting overhauled back in to service now with the Serbian AF as well as a J4 Super Galeb on depth. I got swiftly moved on before I could identify them in more detail.

The Iraqis as above have all moved - only the MiG23 could be definitively confirmed. Photos shows the MiG21s behind but we could not get anywhere near.

Great additions Ben!

A friend of mine read one of the Orao’s in the Moma hangar as 25506 which was previously at Surcin in the museum.

Also note that a number of aircraft you refer to as ex-YAF are actually ex-Serbia and Montenegro AF (ex SCG - Srbija i Crna Gora AF)

After studying my pictures I think this should be 17169.

Was IJ-22 (2571)7 parked in front of the shelter, next to/behind the An-26 fleet or on the main storage apron closer to the fence?

Yes correct with respect to the Orao in front of shelters. Should be 717 - but this is not confirmed.

Found it on a serbian site, it was shown on the Partner 2021 exhibition:

Turboprop Lasta
An improved version of the Lasta training aircraft with a turboprop engine would, apart from basic training, also be intended for shooting, missile and bombing (GRB) training. The new propulsion group consisting of a 450 hp Rolls-Royce M250B17F turboprop engine will enable the use of more available and cheaper aviation fuel.
As further stated, the flight envelope will be expanded , and there are completely new possibilities, such as training for the use of guided weapons and the use of an optoelectronic system (it would also be a reconnaissance system). Safer and more efficient pilot training will be ensured by the installation of ejector seats, oxygen system and air conditioning system.
In addition, we had information from before, and some of it could be seen at the fair, that the plane could also receive HOTAS controls, a fire control system, a redesigned cabin cover that would also be NVG compatible.
It is planned that the new turboprop variant will be based on the existing kite and that a part of the existing Lasta aircraft fleet will be refined in the future. It was at this year's Partner that a demonstrator was shown, which was created by refining the serial piston Lasta V-54 (registration number 54202) with a turbo-helix engine, a model of the optoelectronic system, a model of the new cabin cover, a slightly modified cockpit and easy ejectable seats Zvezda KS- 2012 .
