Unfortunately some changes for Wunstorf.

No more KC-46A and C-17A for this base. The ANG tanker kontingent will be based at Geilenkirchen or even another base.

The C-130 detachment will increase to 10 aircraft.

2 x KC-46 = 133rd ARS
From what I have heard the 194th FS (CA ANG) will not be participating in the exercise.

Are Hohn and Schleswig good for reading tailnumbers from outside the airfield during the weekend?

See Scramble airfield guides on this site.

But things might be different for this exercise (additional measures, closed off areas adjacentto the base, roads closed - all guesses at this point), so please please please tread carefully so we can all enjoy the action hopefully.

So we are apparently down to 16 ANG F-15.

Not sure if this was already mentioned somewhere:

A400M 54+21 has been adorned with a special Air Defender 2023 tail. The news item also stated 24 nations with 220 aircraft will participate and be based on German soil.

I am going to guess people won't know the answer to this until the weekend preceding the exercise, however, given the number of aircraft looking to be deployed to Wunsdorf, is there enough ramp space for them and the usual contingent of based A-400s? If not, any speculation on where they might be 'pushed' out to?

It's only 8 additional planes right? (6x C-130, 1x C-27 and probably the Japanese thing..) Wunstorf has besides the main ramp some dispersals on the eastside.
