I looked at Flightradar24 at that moment but there were no civil planes in the area that could have caused the noise.

Could it have been military jets? Would be very unusual.

Must have been a couple of flights from Volkel. Those were visible at ADSB at least.

Early evening same around Almere. Don't remember the time but not as late as 9 pm for sure. Sounded like 2 (waves of) F-16s heading south at about 20000ft, a few minutes apart. Nothing on ADS-B.

Seen overhead Apeldoorn just a few minutes ago, heading west, a twin engined German VIP transport coming from Köln-Bonn. Callsign GAF931 and hex code 3EA12C, but ADSB doesn't give a registration and FR24 doesn't show it at all. It was some kind of Airbus (sorry, not too good in these "civilian" types...), out of curiousity anybody who knows the type and serial?
And why does ADSB show the aircraft but FR24 not?

It’s the new 350, 10+01. It’s first flight since delivery probably

I just found the same on another website indeed, Radarbox.com. Nice, that's even a new one then.
Question remains why some sites do show the registration, some only the hex code and some don't show the aircraft at all.

That is because especially FR24 censors itself and refrains from displaying most (but not all) mil/gov aircraft.

Ah, I see. How annoying, but good to know!

The A.350 clearly made a testflight or training flight by the way, as it flew to Iceland, did some circuits there and is now on its way back to Köln.

Zojuist overhead Epe in westelijke richting A.321 (15+11), goed zichtbaar en herkenbaar met die grijze kleur. Goed bezig die Duitsers, gisteren de 10+01 en nu deze dus.
