Je naam in je berichten / Your name in your posts

Sinds de overgang naar de huidige website zat er een onbedoelde koppeling in de achterliggende database van twee velden:
- hetgeen je eventueel hebt ingevuld hier op het messageboard bij 'Subscriber Scramble Magazine', en
- je naam zoals je die ingevuld hebt in je profiel voor de hele website.

Die koppeling is niet goed, want lang niet iedereen wil zijn echte naam bij elk bericht en het 'Subscriber'-veld is gewoon een aardigheidje. De naam in je Scramble website-profiel is niet te zien op het messageboard, tenzij je hem zelf ergens neerzet.

'Subscriber Scramble Magazine' pas je als volgt aan:
1. Klik op het forum, dus onder de messageboard header, op je gebruikersnaam rechtsboven en selecteer User Control Panel.
2. Selecteer het tabblad Profile.
3. Pas daar naar wens het veld Subscriber Scramble Magazine aan, de uitleg staat erbij.
4. Klik op Submit onderaan om de wijziging op te slaan.

Je naam in je website-profiel pas je als volgt aan:
1. Klik op een willekeurige site-pagina op Scramble.nl op het oranje woord Profile helemaal bovenaan rechts.
2. Klik op de knop Edit Profile.
3. Pas je gegevens aan zoals je wilt maar hou er rekening mee dat we je kunnen bereiken als dat nodig is, bijvoorbeeld over betalingen.
3. Klik op Submit om de wijzigingen op te slaan.

Since the migration from Scramble to the current website, there has been an inadvertant link between two fields in the supporting database:
- that which you may have entered for 'Subscriber Scramble Magazine' here on the messageboard, and
- your name as you have entered it in your general website profile.
That link should not be there, as definitely not everyone wants his real name with every messageboard post and the 'Subscriber Scramble Magazine' field is just for fun. Your name from your Scramble website profile will not appear on the messageboard, unless you put it here.

You edit 'Subscriber Scramble Magazine' as follows:
1. Click on your user name on the forum, so below the messageboard header and select User Control Panel.
2. Select the Profile tab.
3. Edit the Subscriber Scramble Magazine field to you liking, it has a description with it.
4. Click up Submit near the bottom to save your edits

Edit you name in your website profile as follows:
1. On any page on the site, click on the orange word Profile at the very top on the right.
2. Click the Edit Profile button.
3. Edit your data as desired but keep in mind we may need to be able to contact you about something, like payments.
4. Click Submit to save the changes.
