As GAF699 „new“ A400M for LTG 62 54+40 will reach Wunstorf on it’s delivery flight from Sevilla around 15.00h.

Visiting for a short stay on 22.09. was HuAF/59.MH A.319-112 604.

Arriving on 23.09. just before 11.00h were Eurofighter GS 31+52 and GT 31+27 of TLwG 31. The former obviously had a problem with it‘s live AIM-9 Sidewinder during live shooting over the North Sea.
Visiting in the morning was C-130J 55+01 of BATS „Rhin/Rhein“ and C-130J 55+02 of the unit also landed at Wunstorf after the base lost it‘s BLACK status, because 31+52 was blocking the runway. Colour State BLUE was regained at 11.53h.
Arriving early in the morning for another cleaning hangar visit was P-3C CUP 60+03 of MFG 3.

Having last noted flying with LTG 62 in November 2019 and January 2020 A400M 54+03 arrived back from heavy maintenance on 12.10.

On October 13th, while on my way to Wurzburg for work, I stopped at Wunstorf for the first time since 1995 (!) and noted the following A400s:
54+03, 54+08, 54+11, 54+12, 54+14, 54+20, 54+24, 54+27, 54+29, 54+30, 54+33, 54+40

Landing on 14.11. around 10.15h was Eurofighter GS 31+46 of TLwG 31.
Active were LTG 62 A400M 54+18, 54+29, 54+34, 54+36 and 54+38.
Noted engine running was 54+09, obviously ending its longtime store!
Noted on the ramp were: 54+20, 54+27 plus eight more.
